Theoretical physicist working at the intersection of quantum information, open quantum systems, and non-Hermitian physics.

Research

My research explores how coherence, dissipation, and environmental structure shape quantum dynamics, and how these effects can be harnessed as resources for quantum technologies. More broadly, I seek fundamental principles for understanding and controlling quantum systems beyond the idealized limits of isolation, equilibrium, and Hermiticity.

Background

Prior to joining the International Quantum Academy, Shenzhen, I held research positions at the University of California, Berkeley, Lund University, and the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems. I received my Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Fudan University.
