Synchronizing Spectral and Interference Criticalities at an Exceptional Point

Theoretical physicist working at the intersection of quantum information, open quantum systems, and non-Hermitian physics.
International Quantum Academy, Shenzhen
My research explores how coherence, dissipation, and environmental structure shape quantum dynamics, and how these effects can be harnessed as resources for quantum technologies. More broadly, I seek fundamental principles for understanding and controlling quantum systems beyond the idealized limits of isolation, equilibrium, and Hermiticity.
Prior to joining the International Quantum Academy, Shenzhen, I held research positions at the University of California, Berkeley, Lund University, and the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems. I received my Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Fudan University.
Peer reviewer for Physical Review Letters, Physical Review X, PRX Quantum, Nature Computational Science, APL Quantum, and other APS journals; proposal reviewer for the U.S. Department of Energy.
